Mark Jales, Dip. DAS, MOC, MSFTR is registered with the National UK Therapists Register.

In 1980 Mark spent sometime with St Christophers Hospice in South London under the direction of the late Dame Cicely Saunders and the then Matron, Helen Willans where he worked with those suffering from terminal illness and their familes. He founded 'Voluntary Care' in 1981 which was a home care sitter service for those with terminal cancer.

He went on to join the Funeral Profession and studied bereavement counselling attending many Cruse seminars and courses.

Mark decided to move into Alcohol & Drug Counselling on a full-time basis in November 2009. He has worked  with the 'Restart Programme' for Alcoholics and Drug Addicts as a six month work placement  gaining much experience at group therapy level. He passed his Diploma in Drug & Alcohol Studies in 2010. He is carrying out ongoing studies towards further diplomas in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Studies, Psychology and to top up his bereavement experience is also studying a diploma in Grief and Bereavement Studies.

Mark has recently incorporated relationship and sexual therapy into his practice.
